amazing base for exploring london's iconic attractions and parks
I absolutely loved my stay here, as it was only a few steps from Kennington tube station and offered easy access to the beautiful scenery at the Imperial War Museums nearby, making my weekend of city strolling effortless and delightful. plus, the host was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring I had everything I needed for a great stay.

Close proximity to Tube station, easy access to outdoor garden space, well-furnished and equipped rooms
The noise from the street and nearby train lines disrupted my sleep quality!!! A clearer explanation of key access would help future guests avoid confusion upon arrival!!! More attention to maintenance details would enhance the overall experience!!!

Perfect spot! Loved the 24/7 kitchen access—snacks galore! Plus, fresh towels got me feeling pampered. The check-in video was a cute touch!
But my bed was less 'royal' and more 'who needs a good night’s sleep? ' Oh, and the creaks? I thought I was in a horror movie!

We had an amazing time here with friends! The location was right by the Tube, making it super easy to get to places like the British Museum and the South Bank. The breakfast was a highlight, with a great variety. Don't miss out on the cozy, clean rooms and the warm hospitality from the owner. Highly recommended!
The only downside was that our ensuite bathroom was detached from the room, which required a short walk down the stairs. It was private and had a lock, but it wasn't the most convenient.

I loved my stay at Kennington. The room was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The heating kept me cozy during the chilly nights, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. Sian, the owner, offered an exceptionally warm welcome and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast options were abundant and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the variety of cereals and pastries. the detached ensuite was a bit inconvenient, having to go down the stairs, but at least there were robes to use. I could hear some noise from outside at night. my experience was positive, but those points could use some attention.

Great fit for a short-term stay in London with very good value for money. Sian had our rooms ready by 10:30 am, which was a nice touch. Remember to ask for an early check-in if you need it.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the tube, and the warm, friendly atmosphere makes it feel like home. While the shared bathroom setup requires some adjustment, the cleanliness and well-furnished rooms more than make up for it. The breakfast selection is good but lacks a full English option.
